    BREAKING

A full round up of the results

    659 council seats gained
    2 Mayors gained
    1 MP Gained
9 Councils under full Reform control
    228,000 members
    Tories lose 655 seats

Let’s hope Reform are more sensible at local levels and start to push back against communities having scores of young undocumented men dumped in them

No more flags just union jack and English flags were they are in power.

An inspection of the police response to the public disorder in July and August 2024: Tranche 2 - His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services

HMICFRS found no conclusive evidence that the 2024 disorder was deliberately premediated and co-ordinated by any specific group or network. Inspectors said that it was mostly disaffected individuals, influencers or groups that incited people to act violently and take part in disorder, rather than criminal factions or extremists.

Where did the Prime Minster get his evidence to assert the riots were far right thuggery and organised?

Typically they’ve got it all wrong again
We know we need controlled immigration for the NHS and the care sector and we need skilled people
Stop students bringing 15 family members here when they study in the UK that go on Universal Credit and stop the freeloaders on the small boats
    Absolutely clueless idiots

    The illegals are a smokescreen.
45k coming on boats pale into insignificance with the best part of 2million coming in legally in the last 2 years.

No wonder we need more houses !

The care worker visa will have an impact on social care. The treasury will have to provide more grant funding.

Poorly paid jobs with poor working conditions has necessitated the care sector recruiting migrants from low-income countries to fill the care sectors poorly paid jobs with poor working conditions. Staff retention is low, staff turn over is massive because people do not stick in poorly paid jobs with poor working conditions that puts people into poverty and keeps them there.

Care has become stuck in a absurd and damaging feed back loop where each year the care sector needs more migrants from low-income countries to fill the care sectors poorly paid **** jobs with poor working conditions.

So, the state will have to find money to train and recruit and pay its domestic workforce more fairly. The care sector needs to be reset. The Government needs to cease treating social care staff like worthless peasants, and provide wages that people can live on.

The care sector should be top of the list for a rethink/reset with better pay and conditions for the thousands who are prepared to do what is often a thankless and under appreciated task

Although not of the same importance as social care, the hospitality sector also needs attention

All talk after Reform gave them a battering in the local elections.
They think we are as thick as mince and believe all the spiel they come out with.

    Good
Protect our green and pleasant land from housebuilding which destroys wildlife habitats, pollutes our rivers and streams and just causes more congestion on our roads
    Less people not more houses

The problem for Reform is they now have to govern those Councils they have one
Lets see if they can walk the walk - quite a few councillors have resigned already!
