“Under a Labour government we would freeze energy bills. We wouldn’t allow them to go up.” Keir Starmer.

    Oh yes he did!

NEW: there are 40 nationalities that claim benefits at a greater rate than Brits.

Over 1m foreign born individuals claims some type of benefit, costing the UK at least £8bn per year. We need to scrap settled status and begin revoking it from individuals not making a positive contribution to Britain.

well RR BIGGER PICTURE IS WHAT YOU SEE.. thats OK ..however 20% never voted for anyone this time ... likely would not vote LABOUR OR TORY? so it balances up that REFORM took their votes plus the missing IND ... but on paper to date mid term .. good result!

It’s early days and we’re not even a year into this shambles of a Government
But Reform seem to have a lot of momentum at the moment
Plus they can’t possibly we worse than this bunch or the Tories
I believe that Reform will do very well at local elections in May
And that’s what it needs, to show total dissatisfaction with the way the country has been brought to the brink of ruination over the last 40 years

Starmer dealing with Trump will give Labour an upturn in the polls.
The Yanks seem prepared to ignore Mandelson and Lammy's past rude and ignorant comments.
Those two are an embarrassment to this country.

"It's a political choice," admits Starmer at the end of this clip...

This political choice was not included in the Labour party manifesto, and so therefore not a commitment, which has been pointed out by number ten. Labour in its manifesto did promise to cut energy bills for good, after investing in clean energy, and would reduce bills after setting up the Great British energy company by 2030. However this is not a commitment to cutting energy bills now, or freezing them. However now Labour will now no longer to commit to this either.

So to summarise Starmer cannot be held accountable for anything that is not in the manifesto, and furthermore whats in the manifesto are no longer commitments because the Labour Government will no longer commit to them.

I could have saved time typing that by stating ignore anything Starmer and the Government say because it has the shelf life of ****, and smells like it.

Thing is, he said he "will freeze bills." Not a penny more. "It's simple, It's straightforward, It's a political choice." Regardless if it was in his manifesto or not, he said it many times during the election campaigns and tv interviews/debates, he said it WILL be a policy that he WILL introduce. Not just him said it either. Rayner said it and other Labour MP's said it. People voted for them based on this (among other stuff they said which has turned out to be lies). And he's making the "political choice" to go back on his word to not bring in the "simple" and "straightforward" policy to freeze bills. The story about how he grew up understanding how hard it was for his parents to pay bills, he seems to have forgotten about that.
