I get to a certain point what you are saying. We are overcrowded and paying for anyone to come into the UK. We’ve certainly had our share of ‘wrong uns’ over the years as well as those from other countries, but I’ve never suggested anything to the contrary There are no go areas in Bristol that have been there for years that the Police and Taxis wouldn’t go to then and possibly now and I worked in places like Easton and close to St Paul’s and was working and driving between the two areas on the evening of the riots Also areas of Manchester like Moss Side, Liverpool, Leeds etc We’ve had serial killers, poisoners, mass shooters, baby killers and all manner of other unpleasant people But I never said it as all people from elsewhere, What I meant was it’s bad enough having to keep our own serious criminals behind bars, but I don’t see why we should have to pay to keep serious foreign criminals in jail at £50k per person per year x 11,000 or whatever the figure is today It’s a cost of about half a billion pounds

How or if they will ever clear that is a matter for the birds - absolutely unreal. Bins are going to only be emptied once every 4 weeks but Bristol City Council tax is going up of course by up to 10% so they reckon. They, and nearly all local councils are simply crap at spending their money properly.
