White isn`t good enough. Dwain Chambers is fast but doesn`t mean he is a good footballer, and Whites speed is really the only thing that impresses. He always loses possession in dangerous areas and generally runs faster than his ability to control the ball. Watch how many times he actually bypasses the ball with his own run next time he plays, or many times his close control means the ball is actually 10 yards in front of him.
To get promotion we'd have had to have got 4 points from 2 of those games we looked like getting nothing from, then we'd have had to beat a team over 2 legs that we never looked like beating, then we'd have had to beat another team we never looked like beating in a final at Wembley, where we never look like beating anybody.
