A genuine protest led by people who don't have the courage of their convictions to put a face or a name to the protest, but have no qualms about asking an already beleaguered support for donations. I think our fanbase saw through it for what it was, which is why it was such a damp squib.

I think he will come good Cabella. I'm just convinced there is something a bit special in there. Riviere on the other hand...................

On colder reflection with less of a boozy head, it was a good point given where we were and the least we deserved. Their goals were screamers. That will happen sometimes.

Their goals were screamers. They were given too bloody much space to launch them though.

Can't believe we let HBA go for free because he was a lazy show-pony, and replaced him with Cabella. Cabella will never be fit to lace Hatem's boots. Forcing him out is something I'll never forgive Pards for.

I think the problem was that Hatem wasn't fit enough to lace his own boots. It had clearly got to the stage where something had to give and this is probably a good solution. Hopefully HBA gets some game time at Hull and plays well so we can take him back (like a new signing). Might work best if Pardew had gone by then.

HBA still looked weighty last night. Just stood watching as the problems for late goals came from his side too. The reverse pass for the goal was vintage HBA though. Terrible defending leaving the gap but still good from him. We knew he'd have this honeymoon though. I still can't forgive his behaviour.

If it was such a damp squib, why did it ramp up the atmosphere from that akin to the local library? Also, I'd love to see you put your name to a protest when opposed to Ashley's bully boys.

I did do when Hughton was sacked and I got banned from nufc.co.uk's comments (which have now disappeared altogether).

I don't think it's right to lead such a public protest anonymously though, especially when they are asking for donations. Our fans have been victims to too many corrupt bastards down through the years and that is why I believe that any protest should be open and transparent, and we should know exactly who is behind it.

Nothing to it as far as I could see, damp squib is an understatement.

To be fair though it could have been a bigger rebellion, but the Stewards did their job of confiscating banners etc on the way in. But for Cisse, after the game could still have been a bit ugly for Pardew.

If the organisers want to remain anonymous, I don't really care, but, disagree with them asking for donations. That's not on for me I'm afraid. Can't have it both ways.

Yeah it was a complete damp squid. Atmosphere was same always, average until cisse sparked a bit of life. Donations exposed them for what they were.

I understand it completely. Ashley's tentacles are everywhere, and his agents could make your life very unpleasant indeed.
