I was up in Glasgow on Saturday with mates i have known since i was a boy, a good mix of huns and tims that have never really had an issue with each other about the whole football thing anyway the poppy collectors were out in force so i stuck a few quid change that i had in my pocket and the wee lassie goes to hand me a poppy so i says naw yer awright i dont want one.... <steam> **** me! the pish i had to listen to! from a couple of guys ive known most of my life.
Its about a day of remembrance and all these thick pricks are using it as a point scoring exercise and probably doing the actual charity more harm than good as the more folk that feel bullied into wearing one are going to start questioning why they should.

Many, many Irish men and British men fought and died during the first world war. This was fought for the freedom of small nations.
Insisting that everyone must wear the poppy and commemorate by a minutes silence is the direct opposite to the aims of the brave
men who fought and died in the war. I am all for people commemorating their dead but in doing so they should try to avoid hurting
the feelings of others who may not see those heroes in the same light. It isn't only the soldiers who died in the two world wars but
all conflicts which include the wee six and as we know many Celtic fans were killed, maimed and abused by British soldiers. So by all means enjoy your commemoration but don't rub everybody's nose in it whilst doing so.

Someone should remind these people that their club failed twice and over a prolonged period of time to pay taxes, thus denying the Treasury of much needed funds, which could have contributed to the purchase of better quality equipment.

How many service people could be alive today if tax evasion did not happen?
