Another brace today, Rudy has thirteen goals since Christmas - I always thought we should have kept him, he had the potential to improve, and did every few months he was with us. A better player than Kenwynne or Cornelius by a long, long way. Now, I'm even more gutted that he didn't stay. Definitely one of Malky's signings that would have been worth hanging on to.
 
Got to agree Iggy.

Once he got over his injuries and did sprint training with Darren Campbell he started to look more of a player and certainly more mobile than KWJ.

It was the signing of Odemwhingie that saw him leave, a great pity.
 
disagree, he never showed much promise when he was here for me, a case of form is temporary, class is permanent.

the one that we let get away was odemwingie, another goal for stoke, the only player we had who kept a cool head in the box….
 
When he played off a hold up player. We didn't do that with him. He has a good little and large partnership with Crouch who's not playing today. <doh>
 
We will have plenty of choices up front. Interesting to see who Ole decides to get rid off considering he doesn't know Gestede, Mason, Maynard...
 
gestede has gone temple, good options with two proven goal scorers in maynard and mason. plus campbell scores at championship level.

i suspect we'll cash in on maynard though, £3m would do it for me.
