Do you guys feel he is a signing that Arsenal needed?

Do you think he will help Arsenal to be more successful next season?

Or do you think it was just a case of just adding a bit more strength to your overall squad and not necessarily your first team?

Yes - wenger wants players who would beg to play for arsenal...don't beg - won't sign..simples (it happend with ronaldo..drogba...the list goes on)
 
Hes a decent player but certainly isnt a marquee signing we need to take us to the next level. I don't think this was the kind of signing we need either. Will he be better than the current crop of players we have: Chamakah, Walcott, Bendy, Vela, Miatchi etc? I can understand splashing out and bringing someone like Benzema, but Gervinho? He'll be on the bench like the rest in my opinion with RVP leading the line.
