It's amazing how that decrepit piece of **** has slithered his way back into the media... and shame on the BBC for hiring him.

I was thinking the same thing when i heard the **** on 5Live earlier

While what you are saying is valid, whether you like it or not as a team we are alot more dangerous when gervinho is in the team. He is extremely frustrating to watch but we do get in to dangerous positions when he is in the team (more so than walcott imo). The dissappointing thing is that he very often picks the wrong pass, however yesterday everyone will go on about his missed chance but he did set wilshere up with a good chance and his runs are intelligent.

Thats why i'm always more willing to give him a chance because when he isn't in the team we really don't look like we are going to get in behind the opposition. And when running with the ball he does tend to attract two players to the ball which will free up space for other players. And in most scenarios when he is one-on-ones he will go past his man. He is very frustrating to watch but he has qualities that most other players in the team don't have and i think we did miss him in november.

Whilst I am not convinced by this admirable defence of this erratic player, I will concede that he does attract the attention of the opponents. I still maintain though his wastefulness with the ball undoes any good he might do.

I agree with SJW, he's Wenger's biggest mistake. Squillaci, Cygan, Jeffers etc. have nothing on this clown. If Ramsey's a pub player, Gerv is an under 9's 5 a side player.

I remember this miss, we went livid when we saw him miss that. Gibbs' reaction says it all. Even look at the Bradford players and their relief, ****ing hell. If he scored, we would've won the game, simple as that.

LOL, so funny. I can't believe such a rubbish player is at Arsenal, then people wonder why we're under-performing, with players like Gervinho, it's no surprise we fall short.

He is right up there with players like Silvestre, Squillaci, Stephanovs, Jeffers, Almunia, etc. In fact I think even Kabwa Diawara would have finished that better than him. Or bring back Aliadiere.
