    TBH I'm not gonna be that bothered if we don't get him, I mean it wouldn't be fair if we signed 3 of Lille's players (Cabaye, Gervinho and MOUSSA SOW!!!)

    I'd probably prefer Gameiro to Sow if I'm honest but it looks like he could be on his way to Valencia, my ideal signings attacking wise would be to wrap up the Cabaye deal, get Gervinho, get Gameiro, get another european talent to partner him, preferably a big guy, and also bring in a third striker from the championship with potential.

    3 strikers would be harsh on Leon Best, I'd be happy with 2, Gameiro and Gervinho would be perfect because Gervinhos not really a out and out striker and then we could get Sigthorrson

    I like Best and he did great last season but if the money is there why not use it on someone better, I highly doubt he's ever going to be a prolific goalscorer, I'd keep him send Ranger out on loan and tell Lovenkrands and Ameobi to **** off.

    Take off Gameiro or Gervinho and then put Leon Best on for them . No way

    So you'd have:

    Gervinho and Gameiro as main strikers.
    Best as back-up
    Ranger on loan.
    Lover and Ameobi gone.

    Hmm, I'm not sure 3 strikers would be enough. I'd keep Lover as back-up.

    No, if you re-read my original post, I would get Gameiro and Gervinho, another european striker preferably a big guy and someone with potential from the championship.

    So Gervinho, Gameiro, New guy, New guy with potential and Best.

    5 strikers.
