She was a tout.

The lying and persecution of the family began almost immediately after her abduction and murder. The local republicans daubed "soldier lover" on the family door and then spread a rumour - and actually told the hungry, lonely children that their mother had abandoned them and run off with a British soldier.

Not a single person on the Falls Road believed the fabrication. Everyone knew the IRA was engaged in a campaign of isolating and ostracising anyone who showed sympathy to the British army. In the couple of months before Jean McConville's disappearance, at least 14 women were taken from their homes and beaten. Some had their heads shaved, some were tied to lamp posts and tarred and feathered. Mrs McConville, republican sources now say, was murdered not only because she was suspected of having shown some kindness to an injured soldier but also because she was a Protestant who married a Catholic and moved to the Falls Road.

There wouldn't have been a Jury.

He was never getting charged anyway, Gerry would have spent those 4 days in the station with his slippers on and his feet up.

...and his guards would have been shot dead answering the door for his pizza. You murderous Irish pricks.

He's a very clever/intelligent man...

His autobiography proves that the psni questioning him for 4 days would be **** all

Clever/intelligent

As per that statement; cleverness divided by intelligence equals moron.

In short...

clever/intelligent = moron

He presented himself for arrest. He knows he had to get the McConville monkey off his back yet it's presented as him being the victuals of political policing. This wasn't done for Republicans who will vote for Sinn Féin regardless, it was done for the southern voters.

The press and other parties have been throwing Jean McConville's corpse at him for a long time.

Mibby they should put the poor wummin to rest. Plus, her corpse must be pretty stinking by now.

^^^Reeking with subtle politic

It's the Irish Republican Army, not the Italian

Just after the Bombay Street pogrom, internment without trial of civilians, the Ballymurphy Massacre and Bloody Sunday you would think those Taigs would have been a little bit more tolerant of state forces.

Unless you were around in 1972 then you simply don't know do you? You are guessing or even worse, taking the word of confirmed liars with an agenda.

The IRA killed a widowed mother of 10 for helping an injured soldier, that's the bottom line and neither you nor these brave souls wil admit it, and no wonder, it's ****ing shameful.
