    interestingly though, there are not that many foreign black players with the status, say, of John Barnes at the club. Don't get me wrong, had Henry, Viera or Kompany played at Anfield, I'm sure they would be legends. But whilst Cisse, because of Istanbul, and sakho sort of have a cult status (as does Traore for different reasons) there isn't really a foreign black player in the panoply.

    Not agreeing with Diouf though. I remember the turd's excuse for gobbing at that Celtic fan was that he touched the back of his head in the same way that the slavers used to do to Africans. race card from the bottom of the deck. News for you, Dioufy - if you ancestors on the west coast of Africa were not shipped off to the Americas or Arabia, there's every chance they were involved in the capture of their fellow Africans to be used as slaves. Think about that before you play the martyr again.

    Btw, I think Gerrard's assessment of him was right. He had fabulous skill but no work ethic or commitment. To think we passed over on a permanent deal for Anelka to sign this sulky-arse.

    Well if I was Steven Gerrard's lawyers I'd be contacting a certain person right now...

    Maybe Stevie disliked Diouf for his terrible attitude... sort of like everyone he's encountered? Maybe he's just unlucky to keep arriving at racist clubs.

    Liverpool have signed plenty of non-white Brits but most haven't been of good quality.

    Ryan Babel, Diouf, Balotelli, Pongolle, etc

    Djimi Traore certainly got plenty of game time. Momo did well and got plenty of game time until injured.

    Cissé was #1 striker for several years.

    Read it mate, although he mentions Liverpool he is talking in regards to Stevie being there. Read it again, I think you will see that he never says Liverpool don't like black players.
