Algerian keeper has done well. The German keeper has broken the WC record for a keeper coming off his line and clearing the ball with 18 so far.
He really is class, doing my ****ing head in, just want to see some decent attacking play and a bucket load of Algeria goals, every time they're imminent that annoying bastard is off his line in a flash and ruining it for everyone the spoil sport. On a different issue, there's no wonder Algeria keep getting behind. Germany have faith in neuer to cover the entire German half of the pitch, just look how high their defenders are pushed up all the time. It makes Germany look deceptively bad in defence, though they have actually run it close once or twice and got lucky the Algerians aren't incisive and wasted the chances.
Thr algerians need to learn to put it wider when they play a ball behind the defence, making it too easy for neuer atm
Is it just me that has found myself thinking, the more I see of Ozil since he came to England, the more I think he's massively, massively over rated, and really not that good? In fact, I think he's pretty bloody ****, I wouldn't even have him in our first 11.
Ignoring the exaggeration, yes. I used to think he was ace, but playing in England really does seem to have killed his game. He looks scared in the tackle and even in possession. After the last WC he was their big star, now the likes of Kroos and Muller have surpassed him by a long way.
I used to rate him at Madrid but I now realise that he was completely an utterly dependent on Ronaldo to make him look good. He had outstanding assist records but I think I could probably get quite a few with the best player in the world making lightning runs behind a **** la liga defence
Ozil bought for 48M not the 28M he was worth at the time against Arsenes wishes in fact....in todays market hes about 19-22M....so to say u wouldnt have him in our team is a bit silly really!
