Gutted about this. They are my favourite team. Hopefully Germany weren’t weak down the right wing. It’s because my favourite player Goetze wasn’t in the squad. That will teach that ball sniffing wierdo.
I get the point but i doubt he'll be laughing about his own nation going out. Doesn't matter which squad he picked or what formation they played they were good enough for the semi's at the very least. Oh well. Now we get to see if England win/draw tomorrow and get a route of Brazil - France or lose tomorrow and get a route of Switzerland-Spain... really don't think winning is the reward it could have been (I've ignored the 2nd round as it's more up in the air and not a huge difference either way).
Not the 1st time the Germans have gone ill prepared into Russia and gone home licking their wounds....
I don't think you can blame preparation. I mean if there is one nation who know how to set up a camp properly... I'm more about how badly they will react. The last time this happened was in 1938, and to say they took it badly is a massive understatement.
Meh, they'll be back stronger than ever, they always are, same thing happened at Euro 2000 - i.e. the dregs of the old team were past it, but 2 years later they had reformed and were doing well at the World Cup. Why are people so happy about this? Germany have actually been a good team to watch for the last 10 years, it's not like they play Mackem style dross....but yes, I like upsets, so this is good for the WC. England are ****e though, and are gonna get knocked out next round.
