I think the master plan was always to get some experience for the short term and then blend in some younger players for the long term, right or wrong i'm in no position to say.......
I just googled this bloke to find out who he was and if we are to believe the football news site I looked at we’re also looking at Rory Loy (striker – Carlyle) and Andrew Hughes (left back – Newport Co.). I’d be surprised if it’s serious about this Porter feller – Orient bought him from Cray Wanderers (Southern Prem’???) and had him out on loan last season at Hastings. He must have come on in leaps and bounds! Except he’s only played about eight times for them so far this season. The blurb said like we might be putting in a loan bid with a permanent deal come the end of January if he works out.
obviously not sure about the players themselves but it seems were looking in the 'right' kinda places. i.e Looking for young hungry talent in the lower leagues
http://www.twtd.co.uk/news.php?storyid=19540 Apparently they are interested in Priskins availability for loan too.
Yeah they tend to report everything then when something they say is correct they tell us "We told you that in September!!!"
We've just signed an 18 year old stiker from the local Ridgeons league called Lewis Crisp. I just hope he doesn't cost us a packet!
He's good at "plain" up front and hitting the "cheese & onion" "bag" but he's a bit "low fat" and needs to "beef" up a bit.
