yeah, i originally saw the footage of the vietnamese cop and the white cop.

Theres another angle where you another 2 coppers on him and it's very clear you can see him saying he can't breathe. Then theres a video of him in hands cuffs.

The first video is the most shocking as you see him lose conciousness and the cop still sits on him despite pleas from the public.

It shocking really and i hope they really do get murder charges but unfortunately the police union is strong there and cops don't typically get charged.

    other angle

i saw another video where he just collapses but couldnt re find it

Not once have i seen any evidence of him kicking off, he's a big guy, but clearly already cuffed before being put on the ground. I think the only thing missing is why he was put on the ground by the vehicle. I think this fella was just unfortunate enough to come across a sadist copper.

If it wasn't him then someone else. I was referring to this in an earlier post but I don't know how true it is. Not checked it at all.

*Not sure how you force 16 bullets into someone? Better to use a gun surely. And what's an inappropriate killing? Surely it's either legal or illegal.

Strange that this is all happening in Minnesota, which obviously is in the northern United States. Usually these massive issues with riots tend to take place in the deep south. Or at least you'd think they would, race tensions being so high there and all.

He's been charged with 3rd degree murder. Only 3 States have that category of murder - Florida, Pennsylvania and Minnesota.

3rd degree murder is also known as "depraved heart murder" which is a type of murder where an individual acts with a "depraved indifference" to human life and where such act results in a death, despite that individual not explicitly intending to kill. In a depraved-heart murder, defendants commit an act even though they know their act runs an unusually high risk of causing death or serious bodily harm to a person. If the risk of death or bodily harm is great enough, ignoring it demonstrates a "depraved indifference" to human life and the resulting death is considered to have been committed with malice aforethought.

Maximum sentence in Minnesota for this crime - 25 years.

Seems quite a bit of media source supporting the claims...

Bloody hell that Thao sounds like a psychopath as well reading that. Fcking little hitlers by the sounds of it.

Now when you read all that and wonder why they've never faced criminal prosecution before, you can conclude if it aint on camera you aint getting caught.

After a while of getting away with it they must've been conditioned to think it was either perfectly normal to commit acts like that or that they were untouchable. Now I bet they're scratching their heads wondering what they've done wrong.

Thing is though it's only 25 years as you state in Minnesota, yet in the other 2 states it's 40 years.

I think the cops act was one of depraved indiffirence, I know that degree may not suit a lot of people, but I don't think he went with intent to kill the guy. The situation manifested itself to one of human depravity, which is totally different in my view to someone who goes out intent on killing someone. It's like arming a psychopath with a gun in front of someone he dislikes, in this situation his racism, while having the power over that black man on the ground, but it could have been any black man, I don't believe he was purposely targeted as an individual, prior to the event.

If you read one of my first comments on here, I said he demonstrated psycho traits. His whole body language was wrong, he went where the human mind shouldn't go.

He won't last 25 hours in jail, let alone 25 years.

Do you not think at some point his hatred took over and then he wanted him dead. Or at the very least he thought, if he dies he dies. Is that the same as depraved indifference?

I'm trying to think of something else that fits your description. What if a bloke comes home, catches his mrs in bed with someone going at it, the bloke gets his gun and shoots both dead, wanting them dead. His intention when he came home wasn't to kill anyone, but due to his emotions being riled he ended up doing that? I'd still class that as murder because he knows full well he was going to kill them. Isn't that the same for the copper here?

Ok this is difficult to explain, but not quite how you explained it. The problem is cops are generally portrayed within the legal system as the good guys, but what if you take a psycho and put him in a good guy uniform. That psycho then has the power that uniform portrays, but it gets worse and manifests itself to the next stage, the orgasm of having the power over an individual, much how a cat plays with a mouse before ripping it's head off. The brain falls into darkness, lacking any emotion, but stragely driven by its motive, in this case racism (the hatred you mentioned), and dropping another level to depravity, the longer he kneels on him, now replace that black man with the mouse, and the racist has its prey and unless someone stops him, it will end in death.

There's only one way any attempted intervention in that would've gone ... we all know what that would've been

The only people that could of stopped him, was his collegues, that's why they need to be charged as well, as they assisted in the murder.

Yeh agree with that. The worrying thing is how many in a police uniform fit that description in the States.

Plenty of racists in uniform, the problem as this cop history shows, they put a fooking psycho in one!
