Nah he's right. Who in there right mind want's to watch somebody else sit in a computer controlled car running around a track, and even worse, sit and see the odd 10 seconds of it as they wiz by.

I’d agree that’s primarily why they hated him, but they literally blacked up and made the abuse racist in its nature. He’s spoken before about getting racist abuse in the sport from the age of 8. As he stood out, and he was largely better than most of the rich white kids who he was competing with. His skin colour was an easy target. If virtually the only black bloke in the sport is getting the bird for now speaking out about racism, given the current climate and the fact that racism in general is being debated, then it does little to dispel the notion that it’s still an issue.
I agree that the blacking up and racist abuse was was wrong and detracted to their complaints. Hamilton was an arrogant little prick when he first came into Fi and upset a lot of people. He matured quickly when McLaren went down hill and he left for Mercedesand now seems a well rounded and articulate young man. Fi is still very white faced in all areas, but they pay big bucks and expect the top people in all positions, except bizarrely when it concerns drivers because there are and always have been some who get the driver job because of the sponsorship money they bring to the team There are better drivers with out seats than three of the drivers in this year’s championship. What needs to happen in society is to improve the chances for black people to progress in the mainly engineering fields needed in FI. As an aside, on January 5 when every village, town and city in Spain have a parade to celebrate Three Kings Day, if they don’t have a black person to play Balthazar, someone will black up, although the far right Vox party insists that all three wise men are white.
Hamilton is sponsored by Mercedes who made parts for the gas chambers. He is also sponsored by Hugo Boss who made Nazi uniforms. Both companies used hundreds/thousands of Jewish slaves. Will the tax evading Hamilton give all his sponsorship money back? Will he toss his Mercedes into the nearest dock? #blmbandwagon
A little story... There's a reason I remembered the Hamilton incident out in Spain in 2008. It just happened the year before in 2007 that I was out in Spain for a period of time (private matter). Anyhow I remember discussing with someone while out there, am I imagining it or are the Spanish, or the one's I'd had been in contact with in passing at that time, racist? The response I got was a clear, yes, that person thought so to. So you can imagine when the Hamilton racism story broke in 2008 via the media, it came as no surprise to me, when I was back in the UK.
No. Just pointing out that they stick to the fairy story when they can. Next Christmas try to look at the parades in the larger towns in Spain. You will find that Balthazar is played by a genuine black man
