... the guy is desperate to get away ... he is absolutely no threat, just not that quick on his feet. He is not running AT the cop with the taser, he is trying to deter the pursuit ... saw the full footage on CNN last night ... tragic... another ****ing needless execution. Can't call it anything else.

Yup. It was so needless. He hadn't robbed anyone, he hadn't robbed a store or a bank, he hadn't attacked or killed anyone, his initial crime was he merely fell a sleep in a parking lot!

I don't jump on bandwagons, as you are aware <whistle> ... but I did find myself thinking what the cop would have done if he had come across a white guy of the same age who had fallen asleep in the queue? ... I suspect, woken him and asked if he was OK before wishing him 'a nice day' ... who knows? ... but I find it incredibly depressing that life can hang on such a whim over there <grr>

Wow, didn't know the cops stray bullets, hit an innocent persons car, who had kids in the back. It's like the fooking wild west with these cops.

Yup. The guy wasn't even lippy, he was your model citizen, until he tried to escape. The cops should have known from that prior interaction, this guy was not a threat, but they turned it into a gun fight at the ok corral.

This is quite incredible and depressing as ****

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-53050263

The initial official Police incident report listed Breonna Taylor's injuries as "none yet" ... she was actually dead and had been shot 8 times whilst in her bed ... ****ing unbelievable <doh>

Cheers....think those who knew him and persuaded him to hand himself in may have helped him turn his life around.
Think I once blurted out that I have over 30 different versions of A Christmas Carol...I am fascinated with redemption and bad people becoming good...and I really hope that the geezer turns it round cos that was some very cold **** he did...I mistrust the old bill and have had some **** dealings with them but pissing on a memorial is the act of either a person in a dark place or an utter thundercunt.
I hope it is the first one cos then he has a chance to change.

    Hippy musing finished!

Just seen another video of the incident. I will correct where I said he was a sleep in the parking lot, he wasn't he fell a sleep actually in the drive thru <laugh>

Coppers and Mr Brooks all acted appropriately up until the incident of trying to cuff him. The cop woke the victim up and asked him to move his car, which he did, into the parking lot.

Because the guy struggled, the cops pulled the taser, the guy was stronger than the two cops, so he managed to unarm them from the taser. I still stand by everything else I said.

There was no need to turn the situation into the wild west. Unlike the Floyd incident, I can't see anything the non shooting cop did wrong. It was a text booked procedure really, followed by a few moments of madness.

I think the shooting cop should be held accountable for his actions, in a court of law. I don't believe any charges should be levied against the second cop. However, due to the air of animosity at the moment, the second cop should either be put on garden leave or office duties.
