Me neither. I’m also ashamed to admit I had no idea until today, that there’s god knows how many thousands of British citizens who’s surname is the slave name apportioned to their ancestors. So they can only ever trace back their heritage as far back as a landed slave.
I can't keep up with the discussion on here tonight, something about tea, actually I prefer tea over coffee, I don't really get all this stuff where people pay £3 or £4 for a coffee, unless someone else is buying then I don't mind
Thought this was pretty true and relevant so thought i would share it. Also i have a vested interest because if there wereno coppers and we went back to a time with no law and order i would probably be dead in a ditch or serving some lord somewhere. Lucky to be born in a time where it is more important to have brains than be brawn
I suppose when you think about it now though, that is a good example of something, that seemed so acceptable at the time, but in the space of three or four decades would be seen as so wrong now.
