I don't know if you've ever been in a demo or riot but It's more chaotic than that when it's happening. There's no big oversight of all the narratives and comments from observers about who's supposedly doing what.

People will have turned out for those protests either wanting to peacefully protest, or to stir up ****. Once the Police go in, it all goes out the window and those lines about why people are there are blurred in the chaos.

Where's the line with this, is a little bit okay ?

I reckon Churchill saying he was strongly in favour of using poisoned gas against uncivilised tribes probably makes him more than a bit racist.

The line is drawn in history mate, i would like to feel we are much more enlightened today than we were back then.
I was born in 58 and didn't see a real black person until i was 8 years old (funny story i may tell one day).
I grew up using words that would get this site banned today but used them without any idea/feeling of what they meant. Now i am older and have learnt much. I would never use or want to use those words again even though they were said innocently as a kid. We are all learning all the time and things now are much better for all. Equal, no, but we are getting there slowly which is how most real progress is made.
