I was thinking about his call up. He's 27 and this is his first. It just seemed a bit strange to me,that he's played just a few games for us,and all of a sudden he's an international ?

Its more to do with Gordon Strachan being appointed Scotland manager than his appearances for us, if I'm not mistaken Strachan tried to sign Boyd back when he was managing Middlesbrough so he's been a fan of him for a while.

Any reason why he was not involved against wales? Not read anything anywhere

Glad he wasn't. Thankfully Robbie Brady was only on the bench for the ROI and Alex Bruce/NI had game postponed twice due to snow. Lol.

So that keeps our International Tigers fit and fresh at the moment.

Why was Kenny Miller brought on for Fletcher instead of Jordan Rhodes ffs ? Miller is past it imo.

After the Wales game Strachan said something about those who hadn't been involved against Wales to be in the team / squad for their next game against Serbia or Croatia or whoever the sweaties are playing.

Assume Boyd will take some part on Tuesday then

The last time I saw Miller play he looked a stone (For those metrically minded 6.35 kilo) over weight.

He was poor when he came on. Living off his name now imo.

Apart from Fletchers injury, ore more piece of bad news for Sunderland as Sessignon has pulled out of the WC qualifers due to an injury. Now Sunderland have Man Utd @ home at the weekend... ;)
