Don't tar all fans with the same brush. The thick Geordie malarkey runs thin and makes you look stupid.. Your talking of a poll of who'll win, majority of us think we'll win, yes, I'm sure a lot of you think you'll win, that's football.. But ignore that Mag article. It always tries to get attention.

I'd rather us be underdogs, it takes off a bit of the pressure and transfers it onto them.

Lets hope that the Newcastle players enter the pitch with the same attitude then. Can only help us over the 90 mins or so.
My biggest fear is that idiot ref Martin Atkinson may just try and right a wrong or 2 from lasts weeks shocker @ Sunderland.

    Agreed. ^^^^^ this.

Dont worry about it. Let them live in la la land. They have much bigger problems when all said and done. Clown Joe Kinnear and crazy Mike Ashley(when it comes to football matters).

True. In saying that some of the national media have this game down for a draw.

I think you have to look at it from a Newcastle point of view, we've won 3 of the last 4 and conceded only one goal in those games. It's not being disrepectful to Hull City, but as a club looking to kick on and finish in the top 10 without doubt we should be looking to beat all three newly promoted teams at home as on paper they're the weakest in the league.

However, football isn't played on paper meaning you have every chance of getting a result. I think to call us "thick Geordie twats" is both hugely derogatory and ill informed.

As Hull City supporters are you going to tell me that you don't "expect" 3 points at home to Palace? Again that isn't being disrespectful to Palace, it's just that if you're aren't taking points from those that are likely to be in and around you (for every club, 7 points from West Ham, Fulham & Villa for us is a good haul as we'll most probably be in and around those teams) then you aren't likely to achieve you aim for the season.

Do I expect us to beat you? No. Will I be hugely disappointed if we don't? Of course I will as at the moment we seem to be gaining some good momentmum and have one of the most in form attacking players in the league.

For what it's worth in the games I've see you play (Chelsea & City away...I don't class MOTD highlights for your other two games as these can be hugely misleading) I've been very impressed with you. Davies & Huddlestone have stood out as your best players for me so I do expect a tough game, but a game I'd like to think we'd edge by 1 or 2 goals at most.

Only 4 shots on target against us too. Defence has been solid without Steven Taylor

No idea why anybody would get upset by the Geordies thinking they will win , win easily , win by 4 , whatever . I wouldn't waste my time reading something like that .

Let's be honest Newcastle fans should be expecting their team to beat a newly promoted side after their form in the last few games.

A lot of people expected us to beat Bristol City at the end of last season (not me though, gloomy gloomy).

They will probably blame the ref. It is the standard tactic.

Didn't see the game lads but listened to it on the radio...sounded an entertaining game and our defending for your first two goals sounded poor at best.

Did seem like you deserved the victory, especially scoring three away from home so congrats <ok>

I genuinely think you're just one of those teams for us, one draw and four victories in five games for you against us now. I bet you lads are buzzing and rightly so.

I'm gutted, another false dawn for us it seems and now we have two tough away games at Everton and Cardiff. Anyway good luck for the remainder of the season (apart from the rematch) <ok>

Obviously not all of your fans will be like that, but there is always that portion of support who are 'always in the right'.

Can only assume that you fall in to that bracket of the Hull support.
