Anyway, just back from holiday, listened to the game in the car. What a load of ****e eh? sounds like we couldn't move the ball quick enough and were too sloppy in the final third. Sounded similar to what I witnessed at the bridge on boxing day up until Villa scored their winning goals.
I have myself a free ticket to the Wolves game on Monday (in the Wolves end). I am dreading it!
Main point of this article anyway was to get some views on what is going wrong and what we should be doing. I see we are trying to tie up Cahill who would be an astute signing provided he isn't too greedy during negotiations as 7m for an England international is a steal.
IMO we should be changing formation, 4-2-3-1 with Mata behind the frontman whoever that may be and bringing in a real winger to replace Mata who can skip past people with ease and put it a good delivery. I read about the Hulk rumour, he could be that man but no way for the prices being thrown around for him
. I also believe we need to replace whoever we get rid of in Jan, like for like. As I've said, Alex and Anelka will NEED replacing pronto. Essien will be fully fit for Feb so if Mikel were to leave we have that option there.
