A lifetime listening to Scandinavian death metal bands, now that would be some sentence. You could give them the choice of that, or a year listening to Toto's Breakdown in Africa (worst song ever) on a loop.
I don't remember it exactly, but there was a very old British film, called the Blue Lamp. It was about a crook I believe that shot a copper, and the subsequent consequences of that. The spin off from it might have been Dixon of Dock Green, the same cop played in the movie and the series. I can't remember what year the death penalty was abolished, but basically it was always a rule, whatever you do, never kill a copper.
People will always do wrong. That's up to them. But the Golden rule is, don't hurt the Law, or you're well ****ed, They are doing their job, and thank **** they do it. I believe Pierpoint was the last hangman.
I just looked back on the timeline for the death penalty in the UK. The copper that was killed, if it had happened 55 years ago, you would have been hung for it. Now your lucky if they get seven years inside.
Pierpoint was the last executioner, i know, i read his book. Anyone who kills a copper, they should have a Pierpoint for them.
My Pals dad killed a copper and got away with it. The copper was off duty trespassing on his land so he shanked him. He got away with it even though he was under surveillance at the time, the copper that got killed shouldn't have been there and didn't reveal himself when asked to. CPS and Police were after him bad after that and a few years later he was Britain's most wanted man for a road rage killing in Kent.
I don't understand this, mate. Harry Roberts was the main man behind him and his pals killing 3 coppers and he's out now. I don't agree with killing a police officer but people shouldn't be penalised any heavier for killing a police officer than say just your everyday bloke working on a building site. As for it being a golden rule not to hurt the law... The prisoners who do are generally celebrated entering the big house.
Yeah he was released about a month ago. Not spoke to the family for about 10 years mate. I spent a good chunk of my childhood with his youngest son Brett. Quite funny as reading the book it describes loads of stuff, camping in his garden with gold everywhere etc. He is probably most well known for being in on the Brinks-Mat gold robbery. Nice family tbh.
Why was the **** released? He got angry about what he thought was bad driving so he went to his car, got a knife and killed someone for overtaking badly (or a similar driving offence). Clearly a psychopath and has no place in society.
