Seems like an odd time to sack a manager. They could have done it at the start of the Int week, given the new or part time guy time to settle and work on this weekend.

Mauricio Pochettino has been with Tottenham for five years and has taken them to Champion league qualification four times, and Champion league final once.

I think Jose will do a job there, defo a trophy or two, guy is serial winner. Last time i saw him on Sky he was saying that were he to enter into a job, he knows he has to change his style, could be very interesting
I know a lot if you dont like jose on here but i think he was a fantastic manager then he seemed to lose his mojo
Will be interesting to see if he meant what he said?

Spurs have shot themselves in the foot bigtime sacking Pochetino, they have a rancid system where they buy from the bargain basement compared to the bigger clubs in England, they pay lower wages than Arsenal and Chelsea, which for a London club who think they're the dogs bollocks will never work, their supporters have delusions of grandeur despite having nothing to back that up.
Their owners and chairman have hocked the club into debt building the new Roosterdome and now left themselves a mountain to climb in the league to try and get back their top 4 status, Poch was better for them than the likes of Mourinho, nearly winning trophies is more their philosophy than buying them.
Don't like them or their supporters tbh so I hope they get Neil Warnock or maybe Big Sam, or better still they get relegated.:emoticon-0105-wink:

Can't see Spuds and Mourinho being a good match. Wont be able to spend money, He'll insist on a 'solid' system and tactics and the fans will hate it as will the players. Kane will be an isolated forward and wont score as many, will become a target man, he'll hate it just like Lukaku did. And Spurs don't have the midfield to be able to play the Mourinho likes.

All in all it'll be a disaster...... I'll get the popcorn ready.<laugh><laugh>

The fit is so wrong for Jose at Spurs that I am convinced it will be a success
Going for a [HASHTAG]#calledit[/HASHTAG] here lmao
I don’t think he will spend much and we are going to see the Jose from Porto
Just an opinion :)
Jose at Spurs is a triple fried egg, chilli chutney sandwich :)
