I was thinking the same thing - 2 cup finals in his first half season, huge lift all round the club, fans loving him, .... but we blanked out 8th place finish.
Half season? He joined on the 8th October....

You finished where the season prior under Todgers?

Anyone who watched that game yesterday and who also saw our game there last season and couldn’t see the marked difference in how we played, really shouldn’t be talking about football

Difference is last season you scored one. This time you just gave up.

Well it wasn't a full season was it. Got us to 2 cup finals with no players of his own, nothing short of a miracle. If you want to compare Klopp's first season with Silva's, which is what you chose to do, you have to expect a cup final or two yourselves then surely or there really is no comparison, not forgetting the fact Silva signed you all these Barcelona and Brazil players to make a proper go of it.

Goals against Arsenal

Vorskla Poltava 2
Newcastle 1
Cardiff 2
West Ham 1
Chelsea 3
Man City 2

Everton 0

They all played well against them for 55 mins too

Everton's upcoming fixtures: Fulham, Leicester, Palace, Man Utd

Best case scenario they win one and draw one?

As if Silva is starting from the same base that Klopp did ffs. We had Fat Sam playing anti football for half of last season and you’d just got shot of the bloke who came within a Gerrard slip of the Holy Grail.

False equivalence ahoy.

So why did you compare them in the first place? Nobody else did.

I was merely highlighting the complete double standards that you lot employ.

You never watch Everton and have no interest in us anyway, so you should probably shut up.

Keane had a good game yesterday, and Zouma is far from immobile he’s a pacy defender ffs <doh>

Both Davies and Gueye played well yesterday as well.

We bossed the first half and Cech kept the score at 0-0, same story second half until Lacazette scored a peach from a half chance, the lino then sealed the game 2 minutes later.

We were good, pinned Arsenal in and did everything but score. A World away from where we where under Fat Sam and Koeman last season. It’ll take a bit of time, and definitely a new central striker for him to get it right, but I’m more than happy with how he’s changed things so far.

fair enough... I've my opinion on your CBs.. thats all.

I was trying to listen on the radio but kids were singing james ezra or something on repeat.

Don’t get me wrong we’re far from the finished article but given where we where only a few short months back in terms of performance levels, it’s an encouraging start. The results aren’t the measure for me at the minute. I’d rather play like that and lose by the odd goal, than park the bus and try and cling on for a point, or hope for a set piece to get bodies forward.
