Piastri is so smooth behind the wheel. Such minimal steering input. Prost-like.

Because of the sheer number of races, and Red Bull's dominance this season, there's every chance that Max Verstappen will be in the top three in all-time wins before 2023 ends. Which is a little silly given that he's 25.

No doubt. This season has gone too, so a lot of teams will be putting their resources into development for next year now too, which give RBR a pretty clear run.

Mind you, at least it’s Spa next, which always has the potential to throw up a madness.

You run the race of your life, you beat the British record in the 200m for men runnung a very impressive 19.73 only to finish third behind the brilliant Noah Lyles and an increasingly impressive Letsile Tebogo.

It is great to see so many excellent 1500m runners, In the mens event 1.98 seconds separated the first 14 to cross the line, 3.30.44 for the first, and the 14th crossed in 3.32,42. The slow coach was George Mills finishing outside 3.35. Withso many high-class 1500m runners at the moment it would be great to see them push Jakob Ingebrigtsen to a new world record in Budapest. The way that event is shaping up, you might have to run a sub 3.30 just to reach the final.

Me & Mrs Jasper will be there .

We went last year , but Mrs J got food poisoning, and we barely left the hotel , let alone the circuit .

Better luck this year - it's a fabulous circuit. Have you been before? When you go in the main entrance, you see Eau Rouge just ahead of you, and you think "surely they can't go up there, it's too steep...."

Yes been twice before 1996 was on a grassy bank near the bust stop and Irvine went past his gearbox had broken & I could smell the oil .

Then my best race ever .

    1998 .
    I was a Jordan fan back then ( I won’t mention HIM by name ) .

I was at the grandstand at pouhon . Giant screen in front of us . I still don’t know how nobody was seriously injured at the first start .

Anyway I imagine you know LTL , but that’s the first corner that MS went around after he hit DC and lost his wheel,.

us ( British ) were singing 3 wheels on my wagon

Then Hill won Jordan’s first race

When we I got back to the coach , another fan asked if I had that shirt on when I got to the circuit that day .

I was soaked tired and the look on his face when I said YES I BLOODY WELL HAVE . He was made up for me , and his wife gave me a mug of hot chocolate

I think they were McLaren Fans .

Hot chocolate at the end of the day , but walking through the forest with Frittes and Mayonnaise early in the morning

That was a day I will Never forget

Rain forecast at Spa all weekend - thankfully not 2021 levels though.

If it’s *just* wet, it doesn’t really throw too many curveballs in. Max will still dominate.
