I tell you what, judging by the the first part of FP1, we could be in for an absolute cracker of a weekend in Austria. Lewis seems to have the pace to challenge Max.

That is woeful from Perez - no need to cut it fine with the track limits. And he's cut it too fine as all 3 laps deleted and now out in Q2. That is Perez gone from Red Bull I think.

Lewis out in Q1 for the sprint. Nearly had Charles out too. Madness.

Some more sad news from the Motorsport world.
Dutch racing driver Dilano van 't Hoff has died after a crash at a race in the Formula Regional European Championship.
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/motorsport/66076074

I believe if this was F1 they would have red-flagged this race. The track conditions were horrendous. It is clear that Spa is too dangerous to race in the wet and they haven't learnt their lessons from Antoine Hubert's accident 4 years ago.
    RIP Dilano.

    That was a fun race.

Re tragic news regarding Dilano above - agreed, the conditions at Spa were awful. Similar incident to the one that cost Antoine Hubert his life. They shouldn’t have been out in those conditions.

So Paris Olympics tickets are on sale. Not many events available but one is football, though while the London Olympics tickets were good value because you got two group game tickets on one ticket (though many people would leave after the first/come only for the second) these tickets only cover one game. What a rip off.

    Alas no skateboarding tickets available

And won 5th set 6-0! Good match with some long games. Ruud wasn’t injured either….just couldn’t cope when Broadie got better and better.

    Ooh. Murray now..
