Keopka leading a major is standard. Think his round was perfect timing but you still have to play good golf. He done that. I couldn't call yet

Kicking off at Aintree. Protesters trying to get into the course area, currently being repelled by the police

Shame these ****ers can't be shoved into a giant hole TBH. Feel free to protest, but do it legally.

If horses didn’t die at this meeting, every year, I would agree with you, but enough is enough.

Pretty sure every horse running in the grand National has a better life than the protestors

Envoye Special was the 60th horse to die at the Aintree festival in 23 years.
That is so wrong. Almost 3 per year on average.
I am generally for law and order but if the authorities/powers that be refuse to do anything to stop the deaths, then I am fully with the protesters.

Protester just ran on in the snooker and bombed one of the tables with orange dust. No idea what it was over

Horse racing have blamed the protestors for the deaths of the horses. Funny, I didn't realize the protestors were forcing horses to run as fast as they can and forcing them to jump over great big jumps at speed.

Oh and what was the excuse for the deaths last year and the year before then?

    **** horse racing

I'm no massive fan of horse racing but aren't they doing what they are bred to do at the end of the day? I watched the Grand National and you could see the horses getting more and more worked up and stressed the longer they were made to wait. That wait caused by the protestors. So, IMO, there is at least some truth in those accusations.

Horses get stressed before any race, whether they have to wait or not. 3 horses being killed at one race meeting is pretty damning evidence , you must admit.

But there have only been 5 fatalities from 395 runners in the Grand National since 2012 - since new safety measures were introduced. That's very low in my book.
