Shame really. Charles has had a lot of bad luck but today's on him and he's held his hands up so fair play to him. Driver's Championship looks done but Constructor's could get interesting.
Well done Lewis and George! Faultless drive from Lewis - took Checo off the line at the start and held him off. Checo looked off the pace all weekend.
Fair play to Max too. Again another faultless drive from him, and I like that he asked if Charles was okay and seemed genuinely concerned. Hard to like the guy, but damn he's good.
I spent over 5 hours in the ticket queue but my efforts were rewarded. One ticket purchased for Vikings - Saints at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 2nd October. It did say it was sold out but I kept refreshing and one ticket popped up.
Vettel to retire at the end of the season. A great driver and a great F1 career. Something which I think gets overlooked somewhat in the Lewis Hamilton era. He would have won more world titles if it wasn't for Lewis. Sebastian Vettel: Four-time world champion to retire from Formula 1 at end of 2022 season - BBC Sport
Real shame . I was reading and chatting on the not606 F1. Section . F1 needs Vettel imo. He's one of the good guys and doesn't mind being outspoken on issues in the sport. It's quite a loss. Hopefully he stay in the sport in one capacity or another. Above was from someone on there . Below are my thoughts . I think he may become an ambassador of sorts , but I think he will take a break to be with his Family , as he has already said . Then he will take a role BUT I suspect it will be verging on political , It would be interesting to see him in charge of the FIA .
Why the ceremonies are so lavish is beyond me. The gushing commentators noise blends into an irritating whine.
