Amazing. Frustrating as a Charles fan, as it’s yet another race that Ferrari lost for him, but great, great race.
Silverstone is an ideal circuit for their car with a smooth track and fast corners so hard to tell. Having said that, I do hope for more podiums with one Ferrari, one RB and one Mercedes in the future.
Charles Leclerc, who finished fourth for Ferrari:"It was nice, on the other hand I had hards and everybody else was on softs. In the end I gave my absolute best. "It wasn't enough and obviously its disappointing." [On his chat with Mattia Binotto post-race] "He wanted to cheer me up and that's it. "We will have to look at the global picture. From my side I only have my race. From my side I feel like I lost so much time. This is only my view but I have not seen the full picture. "I don't want the focus to be pointed to my disappointing race. For my teammate to win a first race in Formula One is very special."
Early days but Norrie wins first set v Djokovic in semi final. 2-6 Hopefully Djokovic won’t recover as he did in the QF
And Djokovic wins the second set, with an improved service game, whilst putting pressure on Norrie’s serve.
Djokovic was just too strong for him, especially the mental side of the game, making fewer errors at key times. I was genuinely surprised when the BBC put up a caption saying that Norrie was 12th in the world rankings.
Sorry Badge, I was trying to trap you into saying that Djokovic wasn't Scottish but Serbian. I was going to ask you why he's called " Jock O'vic" but you didn't fall into my trap. 1-0 to you mate.
England rugby team starting to crumble again in Australia. The England No10, Smith. Never seen a player avoid making tackles as frequently as he has in this match. Don’t know what he did for his yellow card, but presume it was something outrageous like kissing the ref.
