I was watching with some friends this evening and I made the point that most good pro snooker players think 4 or 5 shots ahead, whereas Ronnie has the whole clearance planned in advance, and succeeds so often because of the incredible precision of his positional play. Now he’s equalled Hendry’s record he’s definitely the GOAT.
I’ve just seen something on a rugby site which said Phil Bennett, the amazing Welsh fly-half, has passed away. I’m trying to find out if this is true, as I can’t find anything on the news. However, us rugby fans have probably seen “that try” in the Barbarians v All Blacks game from 1973, which was started by Phil Bennett, so I thought I’d show this one - recently voted “best welsh try ever”. These were the games I grew up watching (was lucky enough to be in Cardiff for the All Black game) - remembering a true great, a really humble man and someone who has left us with so many memories!! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/rugby-union/52986771
It's only P1 but Mercedes look a lot more competitive after their upgrades. I'm hoping that is the case.
I think something's clicked for Mercedes - they look like contenders for pole tomorrow all of a sudden.
Great to see Mercedes back in the mix. What is uncertain, for me, is how much is it the car upgrades, or is the track more favourable to their car... hopefully the former.
Quality from russell. Love to see it. Buy pretty devastating that Max won again. Great drive from him
Spain and certainly Monaco should play more to the Ferrari strengths though. Interesting that those two are streets ahead of everyone else currently.
After a false dawn in Miami where Mercedes looked to have improved only to fall away again, have they solved some things out this time?
