Probably a lot of sponsorship money riding on it.

I don't even know if Hamilton would want to win it like this. Whatever the outcome this has been tarnished. I think Lewis is the deserved winner as he would have won if the rules were followed correctly. But if you take it off max now it is not being decided on the track, which nobody wants.

I don’t think Lewis will lose any sleep, if he is awarded the result, because had the rules been applied correctly, he would have won.
The only tarnished result is the current one.

Not expecting it to be changed TBH, the FIA tweeted a link saying Max was champion about 10 minutes ago.

 

Nah it won't be. Interested to see the full details though.

 

I’ve not been following for the past couple of hours.
Was the first protest that the cars shouldn’t have been allowed to unlap, or the race shouldn’t have restarted when it did?

 

One thing I do know - Masi needs to go.

I was thinking that the delay in making an announcement, following Red Bull going in to hear the result, might be because they have overturned it and a “discussion” is ongoing.

 

Second protest rejected. I don't think we've heard the end of this.

Why have rules when you do not intend to implement them. Disgraceful.

I truly don’t understand how anyone can allow this to stand. The clear thing that shows it for me:

Sainz in 3rd had no chance to attack LH & Max because he had lapped cars in the way. Everyone behind and in front of Max was put at a huge disadvantage.

How on earth is that allowed? Absolute farce
