I don't think he intended to take Hamilton out. I think both miscalculated: Max didn't expect Hamilton to take the line he did exiting the corner off the straight (which basically closed off the track) and thought he'd have a chance to take inside position, even though he probably should have expected it given how aggressively Hamilton has raced him in recent weeks. Hamilton expected Max to bail out, though his options for doing so were pretty limited and not without their own risk. They were both wrong, and for that reason I don't think either deserved punishment.

Trying to watch the Ryder cup on the iPad in Spain and having lots of issues with IPTV. Stop, start, buffer, sound, no sound, looping back by 15-20 seconds to replay. Anyone else with these issues or is it my internet?

Are you watching it through the Sky Sports coverage? I had the same problems so changed to the NBC Golf Channel in the US Sports section and it's been fine (apart from the American commentators and ads of course )

 

No class whatsoever.

 

Trying Astro Sports now, which looks like the NBC logo to right. Will stick with it but will check out others if it messes around like the Sky coverage

 

I'd have taken Rose rather than Poulter, he has had much more success in the US.
