That's a racing incident for me.

 

Poor driving from Lewis for me.

 

He had the inside line, had every right to defend his position.

 

Drifted into Max a bit. Dramatic start. Whoever was at fault, Hamilton is incredibly lucky, not just that he didn’t go off himself, but also that they can fix his car. Shame he’s still in it actually, as it would have made the race way more interesting if they were both out.

 

Max was ahead, had every right to turn in.

 

I'm actually really gutted it ended with Max in the wall. It was a wonderful start to the race and we could have been in for an absolute treat with both of them still in the race.

 

He had the right but he turned into Lewis.

 

Who had no business being there.

 

Yeah, I don't love that you can fix your car under red.

 

So you want Lewis just to sit behind Max all race. It's aggressive racing at the end of the day. Which is what we want (minus the accident).

 

No, sorry Tom, that’s on Lewis. Max has given him a car’s width on the inside there. I mean, it’s not a slam dunk, but that’s on Lewis.

 

I do expect Lewis to get a penalty TBH. The stewards do like to give out penalties.

 

Yeah but only one of them out, and Lewis being allowed to fix his car, makes it meh.

 

The first few corners were everything you want from F1, the best 2 drivers at it hammer and tongs. Lewis just went too far on the wrong corner. Incredibly lucky that both were unhurt.
