Yes . Have to be honest though I think some arrogance / intransigence assisted them in getting to this point . Just hope the team as in employees etc can move forwards with security behind them .
Favourite Williams driver anyone? Clearly Aryton was brilliant and the best, Nigel was aggressive, British and Damon won the title with them too, but I always had a soft spot for Alan Jones and Keke Rosberg. Possibly because I was so young and impressionable. And who wouldn’t love someone testing a six wheeled William!!
Senna was my favourite driver ever . As for Williams . Alan Jones and for me , Riccardo Patrese . Manse as well esp when thrashing piquet !
Keke Rosberg for me. I always remember being a young man at the British Grand Prix when he was on pole. There was a slight delay to the start of the race, and the on-track commentator was interviewing Rosberg over the tannoy. "Keke, it must be frustrating to have a delay to the start, particularly when starting from pole. Is there anything in particular that plays on your mind at times like this?" "yes...yes...I'm really pissed off actually. I've run out of ***s" Love him.
