https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/49305986 I honestly cannot see either Barcelona or Real Madrid buying Neymar. We know they have money but not unlimited funds. At best a loan. So perhaps Neymar is heading for ………. China!! I would not touch Neymar with the proverbial bargepole. He is a wonderful player, but his attitude is something else. Give me Jamal Lowe any day.
Also helped by the ref not being scared of sending off a NZ player for dangerous play, unlike some of his fellow refs...
Mind you some teams seem to dominate for ever and ever in their own kingdoms - Crusaders in the Super 14, Saracens in Europe, Celtic, although that is under serious threat now, Juve, Barca, and Bayern, Hamilton, Team Sky or whatever they are called now, Kenya´s 3000m steeplechasers, Djokovic and Nadal (can one of them win the US Singles again to keep out the younger guys, or could this be the tournament that finally announces the arrival of the "Next Generation?" And of course there is Aidan O´Brien in horseracing.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/tennis/49310493 Andy Murray to play his first singles match for 7 months in Cincinnati today. Good luck to him....been a long road.
I'll be amazed if he wins - he's playing Richard Gasquet - but it's wonderful seeing him in a singles draw again.
Andy Murray beaten 6-4 6-4 by Gasquet. Good that he managed to play 2 sets in a singles, but too early to say if he will ever get back to top form.
Far too many injuries for Wales in these two games against England, at this rate it'll be our seconds going out to Japan...
Wales rugby team are - amazingly - number 1 in the world for the very first time!!! Maybe Eddie Jones should just shut his mouth before England play Wales as he always seems to wind Wales up in the right rather than the wrong way!
Ahem .... slightly assisted by one of the worst displays of refereeing I’ve ever seen. Biggar’s crossfield kick for the score was, admittedly, majestic, but the ref should never have allowed the penalty to have been taken whilst the England player (who had been rightfully carded) was still leaving the pitch and physios were still on the pitch. I noticed that he stopped England taking a quick one later because he was talking to Wynn-Jones, guess he’d realised by then that he’d screwed up. Really hope the standard of refereeing in the RWC is better! Think the Irish and then the Aussies will have been watching those last two performances by wales and will not have been worried ......
Yes, the ref was pretty terrible and I think that Biggar was also lucky to stay on the field later on, for a high tackle. I honestly don't think that any of the top 6 will worry that much about Wales!
