25 years ago I was watching the Imola GP when the unthinkable happened. RIP probably the greatest F1 driver of all time. How good it would have been to have seen him in a decent car up against Michael?
    Ayrton - sadly missed :emoticon-0106-cryin

Any excuse to show this again and again and again ..... :emoticon-0103-cool:

I remember the camera was on Schumacher’s (?) car and I remember saying to my house mate, “Why’s Senna gone the wrong way.”

Final session of the snooker world championships, Judd Trump 2 frames away from becoming champion. Some of the snooker he's played in this final has been outstanding. On a side note I hate all the praise Higgins gets and being labelled an ambassador on his walk in. The guy is a cheat, should have got the same treatment as Stephen Lee.

The highest praise I can give Judd Trump is that i've watched Ronnie O'Sullivan weave his magic on a snooker table for over 25 years but this performance by Judd beats it all. He has taken the game to another level in this final.

Alonso and McLaren fail to qualify for the Indy 500. Bah. That’s one less viewer.

Back in the 1980s I got a little bit interested in American Footy. I even thought about buying a Dan Marino shirt, but came to my senses. Then there was watching Field of Dreams and Bull Durham, two excellent Kevin Costner films based on Baseball. That's as far as that went. Decades too late now.
I still occasionally get peed off with BBC Sport for allowing MotoGP to be stolen away, having popularised it in the UK. It's never been the same since. Crap commentators and adverts. Go to the BBC Sport website now and its as if MotoGP never existed.

Likewise Rugby League and Horse Racing are under "All Sport". That was the heyday of BBC Sport - on a wet Satruday afternoon and you´d see these two fine sports on your screens, Switch to ITV and it could have been a motor sport and wrestling. Then on Sportsnight, a high profile greyhound race would preceed the night´s edited highlights of football.
