No disagreement. No question he's got the chops as a driver; I wonder if there are other elements (tire management, disposition, whatever) that they feel still needs a bit of improvement, and they don't want to throw him under the brightest glare in motorsports until the creases are ironed out. Much though I like Verstappen, it's an open question whether hitting the big time so young has been to his benefit; he achieved so much so quickly that these setbacks at a big team with big expectations may have gotten to him more than if he'd been through the wars for 10th.
I get what you’re saying with Verstappen, but on the flip side, Hamilton. It’s just not in Ferrari’s nature to do this kind of thing. His tyre management does need a bit of work, but his disposition is superb. I would guess Seb has a lot to do with this - he doesn’t tend to react terribly well to internal challenge (look at what happened at RBR with him and Dani Ric) but also if he destroyed Leclerc it could damage him longer term (though I don’t see that happening). Suspect it will be Kimi next year, then Charles.
Thanks. Didn’t know that. Any news on where? I’ll need to brace myself before breaking the news to Mrs F; this won’t go down well.
Apologies if you have seen this . Just off for dinner , but look at 4 minutes 15 seconds . the stuff before that is good , not seen the stuff after yet .
Ronnie Baker …. 9.87 in the 100m, and the fastest time so far this year. Life goes on post-Usain. Great to see 3 young Americans have emerged to take the US back to its position of being the best sprint nation on the planet. When growing up, Bob Hayes in Tokyo and Hines in Mexico won the gold. My dreams were shattered when Borzov won gold in 1972!!
Likewise, and I was absolutely baffled. /Friends might let friends do drugs, but no one should **** with GHB.
Today I'm happy . Belgium GP weekend My team is crap Williams , but the best Circuit IMHO . Cars reaching 213MPH , though I agree that does not matter . I was there for Jordans First Ever Victory ( They were my team at the time ) . I was sitting in the grandstand at Pouhon , right after MS his DC , we were singing 3 wheels on my wagon ….. A day I will NEVER forget
Yet another comprehensive win for the All Blacks. Beaudan Barrett as his absolute best, in a side that moves the ball out wide from deep in their own half to set up the try scoring opportunities. Hopefully, NZ can produce this standard of rugby on their autumn tour as it is rugby at its best. Our 6 Nations sides are rather turgid in comparison.
Lewis on pole for tomorrow's GP (surprising that) but the Force India's take 3rd and 4th on the grid!
