My fault for not phrasing it better. Hamilton did absolutely the right thing from his point of view, and ultimately you drive for yourself, not your team.
What about Hamilton's piss poor starts in some of the races ? He IS the better driver IMHO , but to put his ill fortune down to poor car reliability , is wrong .
He was cruising in the race his engine caught fire. If he finished that race he would have won the championship.
Congratulations to Rosberg. Lewis undoubtedly the better driver just not this season. For all the mechanical faults Hamilton also had plenty of poor starts and a nightmare qualifying in Baku. Improve on just one of those and he would be champion. Tense stuff at the end though. Would have loved to see a few more laps of that! Well done Rosberg
And if he had made better starts in some other races , he may well have been champion as well . Your point is ?
Yeah felt so bad for Button Loved some of Hamiltons responses on the radio today too 'why dont you just let us race?' And in response to being asked to pick pace up in order to win "well I'm leading at the moment and feeling pretty comfortable" Damn right too... they couldn't seriously expect Hamilton to let Rosberg pass him... though I expect some on here later will slate him for that Next year should be interesting. Don't think Mercedes will be anywhere near as dominant.
Ronnie O' Sullivan with another 6-0. If you've ever played snooker you'll know just how hard that game is!
Just seen the highlights. What an interception by Beauden Barrett. What a talent so hopefully many more years of watching this incredibly gifted player!! The French were OK nothing superlative about them, but NZ did enough to keep them at bay, doing enough to score at vital times thus proving they are still the rugby champions. I would hope Ireland, England Wales and Scotland are all capable of beating this current French side.
Congratulations to Nico Rosberg, he'S not as quick as Lewis, he knows it too, but stratgically that was an excellently put together championship win against a better driver. Thoroughly deserved.
