England rugby union team beat South Africa 25-10. Lost series, but an important win for confidence sake.
He’s 20. He, and the sport, have plenty of time. Max vs Charles will be some fight for the years to come.
I worry about Grosjean/Magnussen around him at the start tomorrow. Interesting to see how he does if it rains too.
And Magnussen. He’s the one genuinely dislikeable driver on the grid (Lewis is a wally, but Magnussen is unpleasant). Charles will make mistakes. He’s on a massively steep learning curve right now, and many of these tracks are brand new to him, but he just exudes natural talent.
Some twat (Magnussen) will get antsy about the attention he’s getting too, and will try and put manners on him. Contrast that to the battles he’s been having all season with Alonso - proper pro and proper respect. Will be sad to see Fernando go.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/44590460 England beat NZ by 36-18 in a rugby league test match in Denver, Colorado. I watched the match last night....don't know why I don't watch rugby league more often...prefer it to the stop start of rugby union. Exciting game with NZ leading by 12-0 at half time and then England scoring try after try in the second half....with a single try in reply from the Kiwis. It was being held in America in advance of the World Cup being held there. The stadium was 5000 ft above sea level which made it tough on the players physically and resulted in some wayward shots...the New Zealanders frequently overshot from kick off giving England valuable penalties....which we were able to take advantage of because 50-60 metre shots at the goal were possible. Now if only England's game against Panama could be as good.....
