Ok, Leicester wrote off large sums of debt, which was my whole point around Neville, it's not sustainable, certainly not on attendances of 3,000, a club with no history to fall back on. I don't believe Beckham even as a billionaire will be happy to keep throwing large sums of money down the drain to achieve some dream, that the area of the club really is not interested in, I evidence that by todays poor showing of attendance at Wembley by them.
Salford as runners up in a half full Wembley might get at a guess £2M, it will see them through another season - to put that into perspective, last year 2025 they lost £4M. My own club owes around £5M, with no billionaire to bail them out and even I'm not blinkered what the future holds, it just can't carry on like this, which is why my owner along with other lower league owners put together some sort of consortium to approach this problem.
This season even you have to clear the deadwood, before you plummet further into the ****. If you think you are going straight back up like you did last season, think again because even the likes of Sheffield United, Sunderland and Leeds never achieved that. I reckon you'll still be there for when my lot come up season after.
