That’s all true. Functional is the right word. Other people will have others I’m sure. Spurlock has a few I’m told.

We played sexy football for years and won **** all

I'm of the school where some of the best wins come from a last min goal mouth scramble and it bounces in off the defenders arse

I do hope now you have got that league title again you can now play some entertaining football.

It is pretty dull mate with a lot of dark arts - experienced it first hand, even against us!

I think we just had to get over the line this season, by whatever means necessary.

We had years of being told we had a soft underbelly, so we toughened up.

It wasn't pretty and even our own fans, including me, have been frustrated at how we play sometimes.

It's safety first, functional football. But it got the job done.

Would love to see us win the league like we did when we had Henry, Bergkamp, Pires et al

But I'd take another title playing like we did this season.

I wouldn't have called up Jude Bellingham either.....he'll probably go and prove me wrong now lol
Scored a nice goal yesterday. He’s obviously very good. Probably not as good as people thought he’d go on to be. The Kaiser will probably want him in over Rogers against the better teams.

For all the options England had. Too many of them didn’t have a great season.

Foden, Palmer were crap. Gibbs-White ended the season well but wasn’t amazing either.

I think Rogers and Bellingham was probably the right call.

Foden and Palmer need to sort themselves out, they seem more interested in having stupid bowl cuts these days, oh and let's form a circle around the ref to have our teamtalk, grow up!

Notts County v Salford play-off on SKY at 3pm.
Fancy Notts as outsiders. Will be like a home game for them. Big pitch probably suits Salford more but still erring towards a Notts win.

Just back whichever team is shooting left second half. That goal is cursed.

Gibbs-White didn't just 'end the season' well ... he's been good for most of it and was a major factor in both Forest's survival and them getting to the Europa semi ... now if you contrast that to what Mainoo has done this season, in a squad that cost a small fortune, it becomes pretty baffling ...

... and as I've said before, me arguing the case for a Forest player is ... 'uncomfortable' <laugh>

I'm hoping Notts County win, shame to lose them as a fixture next season, but think it's their time to come back again.

Another game that didn't need to be held at Wembley, Notts County are always well supported but Salford don't have much of a fan base.
