I'd say it's mainly coz you're a bunch of ****s rather than a big club, which is why so many people want to see you go down.
Funny how Spurs fans are defining themselves as a big club on the back of how many people want to see them get relegated though 
I get why it’s more interesting to see Spurs go than West Ham, you lot go down pretty much once a decade where as Spurs haven’t been for nearly 50 years.

Spurs are a big club, you don't spend a billion quid on a stadium as a mediocre club. They lack trophies in recent times but they still fill their stadium, well over 60,000 most games.
Financially ambitious not just in football merchandise but also NFL. Spurs going down would be like Man Utd, Liverpool and maybe, just maybe Arsenal going down. With the best state of the art ground in the UK.
The positives from going down is it's an ideal opportunity to gut the club of high earning useless players, generally when you come back you bounce back stronger.
On the pitch disappointing, on the pitch absolute ****, its like within its ambitions it has forgot about the actual football. The manager merry-go-round has been awful, proper scraping the barrel stuff with indecision and blame.
IF they go down it will be great bantz, but I don't doubt they will come back a lot stronger for it, like a Man City reborn.

Spurs going down would be more like an Aston Villa or Everton going down
They aren't on the same level as Utd, LIverpool and Arsenal. Nowhere near
I think what makes it more tantalising for rival fans is that they think they are a big club, their fans try and give it like a big club, but on the pitch they aren't even on the same level as Palace or Forest lol
