Dumbarton v East Kilbride today, EK got promoted today.
Club were doing some sort of celebration , we got in for free, £5 a pint, £2.60 for a very decent pie.
Home and away fans sat in one stand , used thesame turnstiles, just right or left depending which side you wanted to sit with

I lived in East Kilbride for 11 years and still live close to it. Great to see them doing so well and climbing through the leagues.

Jerusalem or There'll Always Be An England ...
I get Jerusalem. The Barmy army have adopted that one for the cricket. The other one you said is ****e. It’s worse than the current one. I would never have wanted it changed when Lizzy was sat on the throne, mind.

Archers said Land of hope and Glory which was a fair shout. I like, I vow to thee my country.

Swords of a Thousand Men.

Bit like me finding out from google today that commerical bungy jumping started in New Zealand in 1988. A guy name AJ Hackett who started it off Kawarau Bridge... https://www.newzealand.com/in/bungy/

Only googled it because I was watching episode six of Palin's around the world, and he was there with the guy in 90's when the programme was produced.

I never realised Australia have absolutely thousands of ferel camels.
Fact -

Saudi Arabia imports Camels and Sand from Australia .

I vow to thee is a banger.

But won't ever be used because of the bellends who complain that it's "too nationalist".

Obviously missing the key phrase in "national anthem".

And the other group of bellends who complain that it's "too religious".

Obviously forgetting the bit in the current anthem that goes "God save our gracious king".

Elgar wrote a lot of cool music. Try the Dream of Gerontius, that's pretty epic
