Would agree ... although Bobby Robson had a bit too ... if Bryan Robson hadn't dislocated his shoulder and Ray Wilkins not had a red card we would likely have gone out in the group stages of the World Cup in 86 ... that forced him into team / formation change for the final group game, the most significant of which were bringing in Beardsley and Lineker, who instantly clicked and we then battered Poland to go through ... and went on until Diego had a hand ... and the two became fixtures culminating in Italia 90...

I think that’s just because Easter happens to fall on international weekend rather than being an annual thing but yeah. It’s a great weekend of sport after the dross of the last two weeks. Good boxing tomorrow night too.

With Arsenal’s injury crisis it’s hard to make a case for them holding you to a draw. Any players part of the aforementioned crisis who do play will be in absolute agony doing so after being nowhere near capable of playing in the latest international games.
Their second string is still better than our first team minus Downes and possibly Scienza. If Scienza not fit give us no chance at all tbh.
Plus there's always the risk that our manager is a stupid **** and 'rests' players for Wrexham.
I so wish this was true. Football was always great this time of year. Even if the team were absolute dogshit, it was the meet ups that made it worthwhile, and at the moment I'd probably just stay in the pub and not bother with the game.
