Bit harsh calling Uruguay no mark opposition. Won more than we have.
With a population of about 3.5m they’ve got to a QF and semi in the last four world cups. The vast majority of their squads down the years have been born there so they aren’t relying on a diaspora like Ireland/Wales. Pound for pound possibly the best team in the world.

Mind you, not sure what genius at the FA decided it would be a good idea to play Uruguay in a 'friendly' at this point in the regular season... it's a word they've never understood as long as the game's existed - Madueke left Wembley in a knee brace and Foden was very fortunate not to have been seriously injured by that Ugarte challenge...

Bit tired of the booing. Poor game, not helped by fans that don't get behind the team. Most had ****ed off before the final whistle while the Uruguay fans were still there and very vocal.

I don't miss this side of football anymore. Clearly middle class fans that pay the prices think they are entitled.

I enjoyed this. Especially at the end when Murphy claims for handball and then points to fresh air looking gormless when the referee asks him who.

In other news I see Leicester made another huge loss last season.

Another points deduction coming next?
But, but, but… big 6, cartels, small clubs being victimised…blah, blah, blah
Although Fosse won’t have it, Leicester are a financial basket case and have been for a number of years.

Tuchel wants the dross injured so there’s not some stupid clamour for them when we’re struggling to beat Tajikistan 1-0 in the Houston Metrodome. He’s eight steps ahead.

What would that have to do with being Premier League winners? ... and before Liverpool managed it... despite spending billions... <laugh>

Yet only one of our clubs has been punished multiple times for financial rule breaches

Stuck the last 15 minutes of the Crawley game @brb

Fans weren’t happy
I had the game on, but was busy sorting stuff, so like yourself I only really concentrated on the last 15 mins.

I honestly felt the guys were trying to run the clock down, which just seems mad to me and as usual they paid the price for that. Fans not been happy for a long time, so I just go deaf to it all - just come to accept fans are never happy.

After seeing the accounts that you put up the other day it just makes me wonder how much longer this club can carry on, or the owners just bail out - but they said they are not quitters, so we'll see.

Rochdale / York down to three points and no games in hand, York have the far superior GD if they can make up that gap.

Rochdale scored in the 90th and 98th to win 2-1. Shame. Although good for my 92 if they come up rather than York as I’ve been to Spotland.
