Went there for an FA Cup tie in the early 80s - game had been called off 3 or 4 times due to frozen pitch etc before eventually taking place... lost... as was quite common - Jock Wallace then promptly signed their centre-forward, Alan Young, who had completely ripped us apart ...
Awful place, as is much of that area

Why don't you talk over there rather than dragging us over here? Your bantz would be better than what @Lord_Rowell is providing anyway.

At least you're not bragging about winning the league in 1936 this time.
I’ve been banned for 12 years.

I’m not dragging you anywhere. You post over here, don’t you? How was I to know you were in hiding?

I was only asking if you were alright. You could have just said ‘No, still hurting’

You lot deserved to win.. Not going to make any complaints... Think you've got a good manager a good recruitment team and owner.

I'm afraid I'm a **** though so Eddie can **** off now though as far as I'm concerned... You can't lose to Sunderland twice..
Do you guys still think Botman and Thiaw are two of the best CB’s in the division?

Brobbey consistently held them off with one arm while he turned them and went forward. They couldn’t cope.

I think this is a massive reality check for most of your fans (tbf not you)

Pope was better than Pickford and would be England’s number one. Remember that?

The overhype of your CB’s. Lewis Hall is world class I’ve heard. Riggy was all over him and then Le Fee came on and done him like a kipper… twice.

Big Nick was an elite forward who would be worth more than Isak after he came in and scored a few goals. Look at him now.

Calm heads required. You guys get way too excited and carried away.

Botman is constantly knackered and can't be relied on, Thiaw and Hall are awesome, Pope's been **** for years hence Ramsdale is ahead of him....and I'm not sure which lunatic said Woltemade would be better than Isak, but I assume they've been sectioned.

@JR41

This is a good read (no wind up)

It’s an analysis of the game. How each team set up and then the tweaks which were made which changed the game in our favour.

Le Bris > Howe

I've seen numerous managers with less money available making tactical changes that Newcastle have no answer for or response to

Yeah, despite all howes successes I'm beginning to put it all down to big cheques being written from him. I saw Yesterday that Howe's had the 3rd highest spend in the PL since he took the job, yet bizarrely he used PSR and the Isak as an excuse for losing 13 PL games this season so far.

Howe seems to decide what subs he's going to make before games and he makes them around the 60 min mark.. He throws 3 on and takes 3 off almost everytime.

If anyone questions Howe you get a mouthful of abuse usually and it's not even a case of wanting him out, but let's not pretend he's a tactical genius that took over Steve Bruces side and turned water into wine..

Our fans have started their Messiah ****e again unfortunately... All I ever hear from howe is... It's individual errors, It's uncharacteristic mistakes, it's fatigue, it's psr, or it's been a difficult summer, but the truth is he got tactically outdone by a manager with significantly less resources.

He did but I can also see his time at your club is up. He’s clearly took you as far as he can, which has been great for you, but his time is up.

Obviously I’d like to see him stay because you’re only going one way with him. It’s looking like he’ll be gone at the end of the season.

I think your problems are deeper than him mind. The Saudis are running the club poorly with their appointments. Money being wasted, poor scouting system, no stadium sponsor, no training ground sponsor and you don’t seem any closer to this new ground that they keep banging on about.

Your owners might have all their money in the world but they haven’t a clue how to run a football club.

I'm not sure about the bad ownership when you look at the progress financially... Think we're the 7th highest revenue now and there's like you say still room for growth.

I'm waiting on the forever imminent news on this training ground and stadium though, begause until that happens I've got a growing suspicion they are looking to sell the club and that why they're simply carrying out maintenence.

Perhaps they just can't be arsed because it's all too much hassle and they can't bulldozer it the way they like to.

I'm a bit weird, but I feel like this is the club I know and love... I hated all the everything is great stuff because it has been apparent it hasn't even been for a while ... Now we can all show our true colours and help destroy the club like we always have done.... There's still one or two trying to pretend they're delighted, but I know they're lieing.

The Saudi state is having missiles launched at them currently. There’s no way their full focus will be on your club, now.

I also suspect that they could be looking to sell soon.

Fair point about them increasing revenue but if the playing side can’t match it, it’s not much good is it.

Plus the Saudis are building a new city and Ive heard there's a few new models of supercars out so clearly I doubt they will be focusing on their money laundering side hustle in Newcastle init

Did the city not get cancelled due to finances, or am I just imagining that?

They don’t give a **** about Newcastle. They just wanted to turn public opinion about Saudi Arabia.

Probably laughing at the ****ers running about with robes and head coverings declaring their love for them.

if you’re a talking about Nyom it got massive scaled back when the oil price was relatively low and they weren’t quite as rich as they thought. Not sure they’re all that desperate for the tournament now but they’ve got it

Are you insinuating that it's the spending of money that buys success? How very dare you.

One can only hope the PL/EFL put some kind of measures in place to ensure that only the biggest clubs can do that... otherwise the game is well and truly gone...
