The YouTube of the full highlights is worth a watch if you haven’t seen them. Vintage noughties football from when we were a country.

Even for those days you have to wonder what the United players were complaining about ... two footed with a 'pike' just before he connected...

"... but ref ... that's his first one" <laugh>

This puts our achievement this season into perspective. Even after our spending last summer, we clearly have the squad that has cost the least to put together in the division. Probably by some way.

On a side note. We are sitting on 40 points and I don’t think that is enough with the way the clubs at the bottom are picking up points.

This means more…..
I think it's just todays fans, the younger generation, if they are pissed off they boo. Not something I've ever done, principally because I see it as a demotivating action. Attacking negativity with more negativity just destroys all motivation.

My lot did the same at Cambridge, I'm really not sure how that helps the players, but they pay their money they are allowed their choice. Although one player got a cheer (Hale) because they know he's a reasonable player situated in some bad cogs and you can't do it on your own.

TBH, it's a surprise to see a record fine and a ban for something so long back, so hopefully they'll catch up with them for a load of other unbelievable ****e they've been pulling recently and City get a good fingering too.

think it was the new owners who reported a number of past financial misdeeds to the authorities so suspect this was one of them .

Seems legit, looking at how Everton and Forest were punished
Yeah I know what you mean, I've never really followed the ins and outs of all this, but if you are dishing out points deductions then that brush should be equal for all, whether you are Chelsea, Man City or any other club.

Not even saying I agree or disagree with the punishments too much of financial dealings are clouded in mystery. Chelsea probably should have been taken over by the government, if they were financed by a Russian Oligarch.

And Man City, probably bombed into the ground by Iran, because of it being pissed off with it's neighbours. <laugh>

From what I’ve read of the pathetic charges against City, I’d suggest a £500 fine and £200 victim surcharge to the other premier league clubs should suffice.

They shouldn’t even have to pay that. Victims of the greatest witch-hunt the English game has ever seen. A stain on us all.

****ty little QPR playing in a Lego stadium that will fall down if we ever do anything exciting enough on the pitch and older than Duggie got fined £40m once.

Forgot about the points deduction for Leicester too, could lead to back to back relegations for the club…..

But Chelsea.

And people laughed when the crowd at Goodison displayed the ‘corrupt’ pl banners/cards.
