Jim Ratcliffe, ****ing hell. <laugh>

Britain has been "colonised" by immigrants, who are draining resources from the state, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, one of the country's richest and most influential men, has told Sky News.

Reminds me of James Dyson campaigning for Brexit and then moaning that it had negatively impacted his business and moved it to Singapore instead.

He’s just been mugged into paying millions to a foreigner to leave the country in fairness. Comes across as someone who tries to haggle for a quid off a taxi.

Spurs just need to get relegated to wake the board room up. You can't carry on this manager merry-go-round. Tbph seeing the state of Spurs at the moment, brings back memories of United in the 70's when they got relegated and it didn't do them no harm.

It’s different now. Different even to when Newcastle went down fairly recently and bounced back. The parachute payments help of course but it would be a huge drop in revenue and I doubt there’s a relegation clause built in to those contracts. All very well saying “clear the deadwood, get a good fee for the best players” but some **** has to want them and no chance some of those guys are giving it even a year in our pub league. Would be a complete overhaul while being everyone’s cup final with their own crowd on their back if they aren’t top of the league by a distance for the whole season.

I'm wondering what the backlash will be.

Coming from somebody like Ratcliffe who relocated his tax residency to Monaco to avoid paying £4bn in UK taxes, he's got some ****in front claiming that it's immigrants draining the UK of its resources.

Sounds brilliant.

They'd probably rebuild in summer to win the league by a distance is my thought.

They might. They’d then probably have a team good enough for the sort of position they’re in now. They also might rebuild and not be that good and be more like where Ipswich are now or even Saints (not Lesta) and struggle to get back.

Finish 17th and go again. The novelty of going to new grounds would wear off quickly for the fans and the home games would be horrendous pressure from the start.

Just get rid of the team and turn it into an events venue, save all the hassle. It's clear they have no interest in football. :bandit:
